Cost of living in Antalya: a monthly budget from official tariffs
· Author: Grand Emlak
Anyone planning a move to Antalya first asks "what will the monthly budget be?"; here we gather only official tariffs and statistics.
Inflation and the general price level
Consumer prices in Türkiye are measured by TurkStat (TÜİK); according to the table published by the Central Bank, the consumer price index (2025=100) rose 1.84% month on month and 29.73% year on year in September 2026. Annual inflation at this level means the tariffs below may be updated several times a year; all figures apply as of the source date. According to the September 2026 assessment of the Presidency of Strategy and Budget, the largest contributions to the monthly rise came from transport (+2.79%), the housing-water-electricity-gas group (+2.71%) and education services (+14.19%); the biggest contributors to annual inflation were food and non-alcoholic beverages (6.73 points), transport (5.96 points) and housing (4.84 points). This is why rent, energy and transport weigh heavily in a household budget. Source: Presidency of Strategy and Budget, accessed 08.10.2026
The income side: minimum wage
According to the Ministry of Labour and Social Security, for 1 January–31 December 2026 the gross monthly minimum wage is 33,030.00 TL and the net monthly minimum wage 28,075.50 TL. For buyers arriving from abroad this figure is a useful reference for the scale of local service and labour costs. Source: Ministry of Labour and Social Security, accessed 08.10.2026
Housing: price and rent indices
According to the Central Bank's August 2026 Residential Property Price Index report, house prices across Türkiye rose 23.0% nominally year on year and fell 6.5% in real terms; in the region covering Antalya, Burdur and Isparta the annual rise was 19.5%, below the national average. The same report's New Tenant Rent Index rose 26.4% nationally and 21.4% in the Antalya region. These indices are statistics based on actual transactions, not asking prices; you can follow current listing levels by district on our property index page. Water: the ASAT tariff
Water and wastewater services in Antalya are provided by ASAT, part of the Metropolitan Municipality. Under the October 2026 tariff, the residential unit price excluding VAT is 35.87 TL for the first 20 m³, 88.23 TL for 21–40 m³ and 126.05 TL above 40 m³; bills whose total consumption does not exceed 5 m³ are charged 17.53 TL under the "right to humanitarian use". The tariff is updated monthly by half the sum of the previous month's PPI and CPI changes (2.205% for October) and billing is monthly. For residential subscribers using mains water, the wastewater charge is added to the bill at 50% of the total water charge. Environmental cleaning tax is also collected through the water bill; for 2026 it is 4 TL per cubic metre of water consumed in metropolitan municipalities. Electricity: tiered tariff and the 4,000 kWh limit
Electricity tariffs are set by EPDK and published periodically on the authority's "tariff tables for electricity bills" page. According to EPDK's Last Resort Supply Tariff notice, the annual consumption limit for residential subscribers is 4,000 kWh from 1 January 2026; homes exceeding this limit are billed under a tariff based on the market clearing price and renewable support costs instead of the regulated tariff. Air conditioning and pool consumption in large villas can push past this threshold, so it should be considered when budgeting. Natural gas

For a new subscription the security deposit for an individual combi boiler is 4,097 TL, and the connection fee is 8,066 TL + VAT + stamp duty for the first 200 m² of the flat's gross area (information dated 27.04.2026). When budgeting
We do not quote unverifiable "average grocery basket" figures; rent varies widely by district, building age and distance to the sea.
