Utilities and subscriptions in Antalya: electricity, water, gas and internet

The first job after receiving the title deed is opening electricity, water, gas and internet subscriptions.

This guide relies only on the Antalya utilities' own pages.

Electricity: CK Enerji Akdeniz

Residential electricity in Antalya is subscribed through CK Enerji Akdeniz Elektrik. According to its subscription page, the application needs the account or meter number, an identity document bearing a Turkish ID number and insurance details; if the property is registered to someone else, a lease or title deed is required, and an application through a representative needs the original notarised power of attorney. The insurance requirement comes from Article 11(3) of the Disaster Insurance Law: for places subject to compulsory earthquake insurance, the distributor checks that a DASK policy exists during electricity subscription. On the billing side, the rule to watch is EPDK's Last Resort Supply Tariff: the annual consumption limit for residential subscribers is 4,000 kWh from 1 January 2026, and homes exceeding it are billed under a market-price-based tariff instead of the regulated one. Water: the ASAT subscription

Water and wastewater subscriptions are made with ASAT. According to its new-subscription page, residences need the occupancy permit (iskân), proof of ownership (title deed; tenants also the lease), the DASK policy number, a residence certificate and presentation of ID; part of the process can be handled at online.asat.gov.tr and via e-Devlet. ASAT's 2026 Services and Guarantees Schedule lists the new-subscription service fee as 3,138 TL for construction sites and 2,040 TL for other tariff groups; installing a DN 20 threaded meter costs 283 TL. The water tariff itself is updated monthly and published on the tariffs page. Natural gas: Enerya Antalya

Gas subscriptions are made with Enerya Antalya Gas Distribution, whose "how do I subscribe" page describes six steps: a building management decision, the connection agreement, an internal installation contract with a certified firm, the subscription contract and gas activation. For individual use you need an identity document, the building decision at first application (a declaration letter for seven units or fewer, a notarised decision book for eight or more), the building permit or property declaration form and the insurance policy; the subscription contract can also be completed remotely under "online transactions". According to the fees page (updated 27.04.2026), the connection fee is 8,066 TL + VAT + stamp duty for the first 200 m² of each flat's gross area and 7,016 TL + VAT + stamp duty for each further 100 m²; the security deposit for an individual combi boiler is 4,097 TL, refundable under the regulations when the contract is terminated. Internet and phone: identity verification

A regulation amendment published in the Official Gazette of 11 June 2026 and in force from 25 June 2026 reorganised identity verification for electronic communications subscriptions. Under the new Article 6/A, foreign applicants without a foreigner ID number are verified through the Presidency of Migration Management's mobile app by comparing a live image with the photo on official record; where there is no foreigner ID number, the serial number of the passport used to enter the country, with the country code, is used in that field. Why the subscription contract matters

According to the Migration Management's residence-permit document list, the address is evidenced by a residence certificate from e-Devlet together with an electricity, water, gas or landline bill, or a subscription contract for new subscribers; Law No. 6458 also requires those arriving with a permit from a consulate to register in the address system within twenty working days. Opening subscriptions in your own name is therefore part of the residence file, not just a billing matter.
